Mobile HVAC Engineer - Central Belt - CBW Staffing Solutions

CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join a prominent facilities management organization. In this role, you will be tasked with performing minor installations and reactive maintenance across various commercial contracts in the Central Belt region. Below are further details regarding this outstanding position.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (40-hour week)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with prestigious contracts, including hotels, fitness centers, dining establishments, and office buildings.

  • Adhering to all relevant standards, policies, and procedures, particularly those related to safety and maintaining a tidy work environment.

  • Executing all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repairs on air conditioning units and air handling units (AHUs) as required.

  • Reporting any challenges faced during engineering tasks to the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensuring that any necessary parts are clearly and accurately documented.
  • Completing all record-keeping tasks on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications:
  • F-Gas Certification (Category 1) [Essential]
  • City and Guilds 236 (Parts 1 and 2)
  • City and Guilds 17th Edition
  • Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role/environment [Essential]
  • Strong knowledge of working as a mobile engineer in the local area.
  • Full Clean Driving License [Essential]
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, email, and internet.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Good understanding of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, and work permits.
