Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant / Carer to join our team to provide support and care for a bed-bound individual.

The successful candidate will work alongside existing care staff and the individual's husband to provide personal care, including hand washing, hair washing, and providing companionship.

The role offers a competitive rate of pay, pension eligibility, and 5.6 weeks' annual leave pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, general domestic duties, and hand and hair washing.
  • Provide flexibility in working hours, including occasional emergency cover.
  • Support the use and care of a suction machine and PEG machine, with training provided.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS check, with the cost met by the employer.

Requirements:

  • Experience in personal care and support work.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working hours.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
