Position Overview

Loom Talent is in search of a highly skilled Logistics Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse team. This critical position requires a strategic mindset and extensive experience in overseeing large-scale logistics operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Utilize and oversee logistics management systems (LMS) for precise inventory oversight
  • Establish and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Guide, inspire, and develop a diverse workforce of logistics personnel (approximately 200 Indirect Reports / 6 Direct Reports)
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance logistics and supply chain processes
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, fostering a secure work environment
  • Initiate continuous improvement projects to boost operational effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and generate regular updates for upper management

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, ideally within a Retail / E-Commerce context - Essential
  • Expertise in logistics management systems (LMS) and inventory management software - Essential
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance requirements - Essential

Compensation Package

  • £45,000 - £50,000
