Job Summary
The Mathematics Educator will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative and creative curriculum to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives in relation to the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the delivery of the curriculum.
- Engage with parents and carers to promote the learning and well-being of all learners.
Requirements
- Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
- Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate.
Working Arrangements
- 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday.
- At the direction of the Line Manager.
Salary
- Between £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
