As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and maintenance for Dematic's installed equipment. Your expertise will encompass both scheduled service work and emergency breakdown cover, ensuring seamless operation of critical warehouse automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with industry best practices and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct occasional scheduled service work, adhering to the standards outlined in relevant equipment manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, ensuring clear documentation for future reference.
  • Provide a 24/7 on-call service as required, demonstrating commitment to customer support and operational continuity.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and represent KION Group in a positive light when interacting with customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience within the warehouse automation industry, or a similar engineering environment such as aerospace, automotive, FMCG, or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of control systems and techniques, particularly Siemens S7, distributed control systems (DCS), drives, and scanners.
  • LEEA Part 1 certification is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of LOLER regulations and FEM/BS standards governing the automated warehouse industry.
  • Full UK Driving Licence due to the travel requirements of this role.
