Job Summary:
We're seeking an Apprentice Credit Controller to provide credit control and administrative support to the B2B & D2C sections of our business. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Customer Service, Area Managers, and the wider business to maintain customer accounts and manage the allocation of D2C payments while identifying and solving any issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage D2C Sales Ledger and Credit Control functions, including drawing down and posting receipts from payment portals to the finance system.
- Monitor and control D2C payment platforms, matching and allocating payments to invoices and credit notes.
- Manage B2B Sales Ledger and Credit Control functions, including managing accounts receivable, reconciling customer accounts, and sending out month-end account statements.
- Monitor aged debtors and participate in reviews to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role is essential.
- Preferred high volume transaction experience.
- Knowledge of SAGE & SAP is desirable.
- Process improvement and change management skills.
- European credit management and customer payment portal experience would be useful.
