**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled MIS Officer to join our Early Years, Education & Social Care Department at Bradford College.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of data relating to student details, enrolments, timetables, course set up and planning data.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Head of Department with the processing of data during the Business Planning cycle, ensuring compliance with funding agencies, audit regulators, and college policies.
  • Create and maintain an accurate course Masterfile for the department, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-college departments to deliver an excellent student administration service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of funding and audit rules, as defined by relevant agencies, to ensure accurate data processing and reporting.
  • Understand and apply the College Fee Policy to students, ensuring accurate fee processing and reporting.
  • Process student withdrawals and transfers in accordance with college policies and procedures, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Verify and update timetables, ensuring students are accurately recorded on the system and on the correct registers.
  • Ensure the student record reflects curriculum delivery, including accurate recording of student progress and achievement.
  • Correct ILR and/or audit errors in a timely manner, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the Admissions & Enrolment Team with the processing of student enrolments, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Maintain electronic and paper-based information stored by the department for funding and audit purposes, ensuring data security and compliance.

**Requirements**

  • Be the department's primary contact for all student data-related queries, providing accurate and timely responses.
