Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Senior Electrical Engineer with a leading International multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Central London. Their multi-disciplined team includes MEP (30 strong), Environmental Design & Sustainability, VT, and Architectural Design Lighting. They are involved in high profile and prestigious projects all over the world across a variety of sectors so the role may involve some travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend all meetings with clients, project teams, contractors, etc.
  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other documents required.
  • Review and manage the project from inception to post-construction duties.
  • Contribute and assist, as required by the Project Leader, Senior Partner, or nominated Engineer.
  • Support equity, diversity & inclusion (EDI) as a core priority and integrate it into all workstreams.
  • Solid technical understanding of own core engineering discipline and the role of the electrical engineer within the design team.
  • Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines engaged in the design of the built environment.
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference material.
  • Ability to use Autodesk Revit, Amtech/Trimble, Dialux, and Microsoft 'Office' suite.
  • Use initiative in response to demands of the project.
  • Flexible attitude and able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
  • International project experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use some of the following software applications: IES, Elevate, AGI, Relux, Hevacomp, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Mandarin, Cantonese, or mainland European language skills.
