We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Innovative Tech People. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable data architectures to support our business needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Work closely with our Power BI specialist to create and optimize Power BI direct queries to provide interactive and insightful visualizations for stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation processes, data cleansing, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Proven experience in data engineering and database administration.
- Proficiency in cloud data warehouse platforms, particularly in Snowflake (administration and language).
- Strong understanding of databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and optimization techniques, preferably MS SQL and BI Tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSDT).
