About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Major Projects division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Plans to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to promote a positive HSE culture and achieve successful HSE performance.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor HSE performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors on HSE matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the EPC industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE Management Plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees, contractors, and clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
