About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Consult Construct Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a range of commercial projects, including refurbishments, new builds, and extension projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Surveying and Site Inspections: Conduct thorough site inspections and measured surveys to inform project decisions.
  3. Specification Writing: Prepare detailed specifications for projects, utilizing industry-standard software such as NBS.
  4. Contract Administration: Manage contracts and ensure compliance with statutory processes and UK Building Regulations.
  5. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Graduate/ Apprentice Building Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements
  1. RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial Surveying environment.
  3. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  4. Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning processes.
