Job Title: Technology Regulation / Assurance Specialist

Network IT is currently recruiting for a Technology Regulation / Assurance Specialist to join a financial services client on a 12-month initial contract. This is a key role with our banking client, who are undergoing significant modernisation activity within their technology areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with regulations, such as PRA, within the client's technology areas.
  • Implement a regulation register toolset to plan, monitor, and eliminate risks for non-compliance.
  • Develop an assurance plan for IT, amidst a large amount of IT transformation and modernisation.
Requirements:
  • Background in financial services, preferably global or international banking, in regulatory compliance, controls, assurance, or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of PRA requirements for Third Party Risk Management, outsourcing, operational resilience, and continuity.
  • Experience in IT Regulatory controls, compliance, and assurance.
  • Horizon Scanning and 1st and 2nd line of defence reviews.
  • Assurance Planning for IT and technology projects.
  • Knowledge of toolsets that support regulation register implementation, such as ServiceNow.
  • Programme Management or leadership experience, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Location:

London, with 1 or 2 days per week onsite.
