Job Summary:

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Materials Handler to join our team in a stockyard environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily functions of stockyard operations, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading, and maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily functions of stockyard operations, including loading and unloading, stock rotation, and operating multiple pieces of material handling equipment.
  • Ensure all loading is undertaken safely, efficiently, and to best practice standards.
  • Responsible for undertaking daily housekeeping routines to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with control of stock, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
  • Operate FLT Counterbalance and Side Loader equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure goods are not damaged during handling and storage.
  • Complete picking paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • FLT Counterbalance & Side Loader trained/licensed.
  • Experience of working within a stockyard environment, with the ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Awareness of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Stock Control principles.
  • Full Driving Licence.
