About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Childrens Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Childrens Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs
  • Assist with tracheotomy, ventilation, and seizure management
  • Support clients with stoma care and other complex medical needs
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in tracheostomy, peg feeding, suctioning, and caring for non-verbal clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
