About This Role

Audible is seeking a highly skilled and experienced development producer/script editor to join the Original Content team in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will support the commissioning team and work closely with production teams to develop and produce high-quality audio storytelling content.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Take on editorial responsibilities for multiple projects in development, providing feedback on casting suggestions and listening notes on draft audio.
  2. Manage the submissions process in scripted drama, reading and analyzing submissions, and providing recommendations to the wider team.
  3. Identify future partners and commercial successes, and work closely with the production team to bring new ideas to life.
  4. Act as an ambassador for scripted drama, communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  5. Manage a portfolio of freelance editors, sourcing and onboarding new talent as needed.
