Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel to the organization while developing and refining processes to boost departmental efficiency. Reporting directly to the Director of Legal, you will handle medium to high-value projects and assist colleagues during peak workloads. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, negotiating, and preparing documentation related to a wide array of significant commercial agreements, including client and supplier contracts.
  • Providing advice on various contractual matters and resolving disputes.
  • Designing and delivering training sessions for the organization on legal policies and pertinent regulations.
  • Supporting special initiatives, including the development of new products.
  • Staying informed about and advising on legal and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess approximately 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law, with a robust understanding of commercial agreements. Experience in a similar in-house setting or a prestigious law firm is preferred.

You should be adept at engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, capable of providing support and constructive feedback when necessary. Additionally, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
