Residential Childcare Team Leader

Salary: £31,288 - £33,358 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 39 hours per week

The Role:Our Home provides a safe and supportive environment for young people with complex trauma-based behaviour.
As a Team Leader, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the home, providing direct support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Line Management: Provide guidance and support to a small team of Childcare Workers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care and risk plans in partnership with referring authorities, therapeutic services, senior management, and educational settings.
- Legislation & Compliance: Stay informed on children's homes legislation, regulations, and the Ofsted inspection framework to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
- Thorough understanding of current childcare legislation, particularly relating to children in care.
- Working knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Framework for Children's Homes and Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Salary Range: £31,288 - £33,358 (depending on experience)
