CBC Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Head of Credit Risk to lead its asset finance credit risk function. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality and quantity of new business written, while ensuring that new business applications are underwritten quickly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit risk frameworks to maintain and improve the quality and quantity of new business written.
- Manage a team of credit risk analysts and managers to ensure that new business applications are underwritten quickly and accurately.
- Represent the credit risk function at Board level and contribute to future strategic plans.
- Provide detailed reports on portfolio and credit risk to external parties.
- Personally sanction larger value and more complex transactions and chair credit committee for transactions in excess of mandated limits.
Requirements:
- An experienced asset finance credit risk professional with a proven background across a range of asset classes.
- Proven leadership skills and able to train, manage and inspire a team of credit risk analysts and managers.
- Credible and highly analytical and able to present confidently at a senior level and engender confidence amongst peers.
- A flexible approach and able to stay away from home for a night or two if the need arises.
