Position: Systems Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Operations Specialist to join a prominent utility organization. This role is ideal for those with a strong foundation in Linux and a commitment to delivering exceptional server support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of systems administrators to manage a variety of tasks, including routine system maintenance and the deployment of innovative business solutions.
  • Leverage your knowledge in hardware specifications and system architecture to ensure optimal performance and ongoing support of servers and services.
  • Gain experience with various database systems, Active Directory integrations, firewalls, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP and Fibre-Channel.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in core Linux administrative functions is essential.
  • A solid understanding of system security practices and the ability to enhance server and service security.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, including Ansible, git, CI/CD, and REST APIs.
