Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our portfolio of brands, including Linden Homes, Bovis Homes, and Countryside Homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out prospective sales opportunities and follow up with customers to optimize business outcomes.
  • Negotiate with customers to ensure the best sales outcomes for the business.
  • Manage sales diaries for appointments and travel to all sites within the designated area as required.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of all Bovis, Linden, and Countryside Homes sites and build progress to ensure each customer is given every opportunity to purchase a new home.
  • Proactively manage and follow the sales process as set out in the Sales Induction Training and Development Procedure Guide with every customer.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Ensure every customer contact is recorded on the relevant IT system and in line with GDPR.
  • Deal with all customers in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that customers are kept fully and regularly informed of the progress of their purchase.
  • Respond to all cancellations making every effort to 'save' and if necessary, re-negotiate the reservation and always identify the reason for cancellation and offer any suitable alternatives within other Bovis, Linden, or Countryside Homes sites.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role delivering under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a high level of effective communication verbally and digitally.
  • Experience in generating leads and sales through telephone-based business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent IT skills with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Comfortable using multi-channel forms of communication.
  • Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing the sales process with customers.
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills.
  • An eye for detail when maintaining high standards of presentation in all sales areas.
  • A keen interest in property and the housing market.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Willing to travel to all sales sites, including regional offices.
  • Full driving license and access to a suitable vehicle.
  • Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
