Carpenters Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenters to join our team at Gap Construction. As a Carpenters, you will be responsible for taking measurements and preparing the site for woodwork, measuring, marking up, cutting, shaping, fitting, and finishing timber, and reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take measurements and prepare the site for woodwork.
- Measure, mark up, cut, shape, fit, and finish timber.
- Read and interpret designs to meet specifications set by architects.
- Perform first and second fix carpentry work.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
- Carpentry qualification is desirable.
- Must have full PPE.
- Must have own tools and transport.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years on-site experience in a similar role.
- Be able to provide 2 checkable references.
