Freelance Interpreter Required in Northumberland

We are seeking highly skilled freelance interpreters to join our team at Language Empire. As a leading provider of interpreting and translation services, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals to work with various public and private organizations across the UK.
About the RoleAs a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services to clients in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. You will work independently, using your language skills to facilitate communication between service users and providers.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Verify the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handle highly confidential information
- Liaise between service users and providers
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
- Flexible working to fit around your schedule
