Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer with a background in commercial plant operations and plumbing to provide maintenance and repair services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance and completing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Ensuring all statutory and mandatory tasks are performed within required timelines, with accurate certification and clear identification of remedial works.
  • Handling reactive and emergency tasks efficiently, utilizing handheld technology.
  • Proactively identifying additional opportunities for work on-site and gathering necessary information for quotations.
  • Monitoring subcontractors to ensure compliance with work standards and Health and Safety regulations, issuing appropriate Permits, and managing small works and escort duties as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)
  • TPCP1 & TPCP1A
  • HWSS - Vented & Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems essential
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols, Permit to Work procedures, and safe working systems.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces, along with a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Valid Full Driving Licence.
