As a Senior Manager within the Group Operational Resilience team, you will be instrumental in fostering the adoption of Operational Resilience across the organization, reporting directly to the Director of Operational Resilience.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for professionals to join our new Connector function, representing Group Operational Resilience by cultivating effective relationships with Business units and their respective business platforms (BPs). Your role will be pivotal in helping the Group progress safely by understanding business change objectives, ensuring alignment of priorities, and promoting resilience in accordance with our strategic goals and Target Operating Model.
The primary objectives of this role include:
Leading daily engagement for Group Operational Resilience (GOR) across various Business areas and Platforms to strengthen relationships and achieve Operational Resilience outcomes for our customers at Lloyds Banking Group. Fostering a culture of resilience throughout the organization by promoting consistency and proactive measures. Collaborating with business units to ensure alignment between GOR and business roadmaps. Ensuring coordination between Platforms/CIO and GOR to secure necessary funding for addressing vulnerabilities identified through scenario testing. Serving as the main contact for Platforms to ensure that appropriate central reporting mechanisms are established to monitor the progress of vulnerability remediation. Ensure that cross-cutting platform vulnerabilities are communicated effectively with the BRSO/AP community and that impacted Platforms Integrators/Product Owners prioritize remediation in their product backlogs/roadmaps.Required Skills and Experience
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor communication styles for diverse audiences. Proven ability to cultivate deep and collaborative relationships at all organizational levels, with established credibility among senior stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding of the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity landscape, including current regulatory and industry trends. Ability to influence across the organization without formal authority, fostering trust and empowering teams through coaching techniques that encourage constructive feedback and innovative thinking. Experience as both a practitioner and a leader, driving strategic and cultural change within organizations. Familiarity with agile methodologies, tools, and practices. A curious mindset, eager to innovate and learn from experiences. Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of attracting, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams. Strong analytical skills, with experience in providing executive insights to senior management.
