Fire Alarm Service/Small Works Engineer
Location:
Greater London and the Home Counties

Position Overview:
The Fire Alarm Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused Fire Protection Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute Service, Repair & Installations in accordance with BS5839 standards.
  • Conduct servicing of Fire Alarm Systems and various fire safety equipment.
  • Replace components of Fire Alarm Systems, including batteries, detectors, and related apparatus.
  • Identify and report deficiencies in the installed systems, adhering to the appropriate BS standards.
  • Travel across London, Kent, and the Home Counties as required.
  • Provide 24-hour on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Maintain physical fitness to perform tasks such as climbing ladders independently.
Qualifications:
Level 3 or higher in fire alarm certification.
Completion of FIA modules
ECS training
Participation in manufacturer training programs

Skills and Attributes:
  • Familiarity with Conventional, Addressable, and Wireless Fire Alarm systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective planning and deadline management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of Construction Health and Safety regulations.
  • Relevant background in electronic engineering, electrical work, or a similar trade.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and adapt work approaches as necessary.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
