Residential Caretaker

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 17:00 pm with 1 hour for lunch (and the occasional out of hours emergency call)
About the Role
As a dedicated Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by maintaining the estate's grounds to the highest standards and ensuring a safe environment free from hazards.
The Caretaker will collaborate closely with the Estate Manager while enjoying the autonomy to manage daily tasks. This dynamic position involves overseeing the upkeep of outdoor areas and the exterior of buildings, as well as managing communal facilities. You will also be responsible for organizing and facilitating events, ensuring that all preparations and clean-ups are handled efficiently.
In addition, you will serve as the primary contact for facility-related matters, adeptly resolving issues or coordinating with relevant parties to ensure prompt solutions.
About You

As a vital member of the Estate Management team, you will represent our organization effectively, establishing professional relationships with residents, contractors, and staff.
Previous experience in a caretaker or similar position is preferred, along with a background in trades. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in facilities management and grounds maintenance is essential, as is familiarity with risk management processes. Proficiency in modern technology for monitoring and documenting issues is also required.
You should be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful towards all individuals, maintaining a strong sense of confidentiality.
