Job Summary

CRC Evans is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Welding Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Welding Engineer, you will assist our experienced Welding Engineers in the welding discipline, working on tenders, project execution, and R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the specification and requirements of welding procedures, equipment, and consumables.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is in place for all welding activities.
  • Collate and monitor data from R&D materials and welding projects.
  • Provide budget estimates and firm offers for tenders, projects, and internal clients.
  • Review technical specifications for tender/contract purposes.
  • Calculate welding cycle times for pipeline installation rate estimates.
  • Perform QC and Inspection functions during WPQT, WQ, and Welding Development.
  • Monitor production welding on site and travel to worksites as required.
Health, Safety & Environment
  • Take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in welding/materials engineering or equivalent level through experience.
  • Experience of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Must be willing to undertake offshore survival training.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
