We are seeking a Lead Psychological Wellbeing Specialist to join our dedicated team, overseeing and facilitating a supportive and integrated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) team.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our Psychological Wellbeing services, which are delivered in collaboration with esteemed partners in the mental health sector.
Our service is committed to enhancing client experiences and outcomes while prioritizing the wellbeing of our staff. We offer a robust support framework, including numerous professional development opportunities, such as an in-house Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, which allocates dedicated study days for skill enhancement.
This position allows for a hybrid working model, combining remote responsibilities with in-office tasks.
Key Responsibilities

This full-time role entails spending a designated day each week at our central referral hub, where all incoming referrals are managed. Your responsibilities will include evaluating some of these referrals for appropriateness. Regular risk assessments will also be part of your duties, ensuring that management plans are established whenever risks are identified.

Candidates should possess experience in addressing common mental health challenges, conducting initial assessments of client needs, including risk evaluations, and delivering a variety of evidence-based, high-volume, low-intensity psychological interventions grounded in a self-management framework. The interventions may encompass both individual and group settings, and candidates must demonstrate confidence and proficiency in utilizing various communication methods, including telephone consultations, e-consultations, and face-to-face interactions.
