Job Title: HSE Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Manager to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As an HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement in energy efficiency across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, providing up-to-date advice on changes in regulations.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct Risk Assessments under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, including assessments on Workplace, Equipment, Manual Handling, PPE, and Display Screen Equipment.
  • Health and Safety Inspections: Perform Health & Safety inspections and monitor completion of actions.
  • Accident Investigations: Investigate accidents, conduct root cause analysis, and support supervisors in accident investigations.
  • Health and Safety Management Systems: Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14000 & ISO).
  • Energy Efficiency: Monitor energy usage and develop plans to maximise energy efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Attend monthly HSE manager meetings and share best practices across the business.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong report-writing skills.
