Job Description

Job Title: HVAC Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts for our client, a Mechanical and Electrical specialist based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing existing contracts, securing new remedial work, and ensuring service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met, while maintaining high-quality service delivery
  • Develop and grow existing contracts through performance improvement and relationship management
  • Identify and tender for new remedial contracts to expand business portfolio
  • Monitor contract performance, financials, and KPIs, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance
  • Regularly liaise with clients, addressing any issues or concerns to maintain strong relationships
  • Provide accurate reports on contract performance, progress, and financials
  • Ensure contracts adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contract management
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, tenders, and bids
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or HVAC engineering (desirable)
  • Live within commutable distance to Manchester office

Benefits:

  • Salary £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme uncapped based on performance
  • Car Allowance £6,000
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Working hours 8am - 5pm - office and sites based
