Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV driver to join our team at WhHiggins Transport. As a Class 1 Powder Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our cement powders to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain the truck in an acceptable and clean condition.
  • Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation, including Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
  • Complete required documentation with good attention to detail.
  • Liaise with the Logistics Manager to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Be enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused.
  • Be punctual and have good communication skills.
