About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to our clients across various sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' facilities.
  • Implement electrical maintenance and corrective works on site in accordance with maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of site systems and equipment to provide effective maintenance and repair services.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve high-quality results.
  • Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorized by the Authorised Person Controller.
  • Develop and retain knowledge of site system failures and their causes and effects.
  • Carry out minor new works installations and testing.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of plant and adjacent areas.
  • Undertake defect surveys on electrical plant and systems and provide reports as requested by engineering management.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for shift colleagues.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as agreed with EMCOR management.
Requirements
  • 18th edition electrical C&G certificate or willingness to complete the course.
  • Qualified to C&G 2360.
  • Experience in building services maintenance and repair.
  • Good understanding of legislative compliance and contract law.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
