Job Description

Trainee Property Maintenance Operative

Location: Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6RY
Salary: £8.60-£11.44 per hour (dependent on age)

Contract: Permanent, Full or Part time
Hours: 30-35 Hours Per Week

Benefits:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Property Maintenance Operative. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring they are safe and habitable for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance issues
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or trade role (desirable)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
