Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced and skilled Workshop Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality, precision-engineered parts from our Essex branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in reading engineering manufacturing drawings for the production of parts and components.
  • Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments.
  • Machine parts to pre-determined specifications using various machine tools: lathes, milling machines, machining centres, borers, grinders, and pedestal/radial drill.
  • Ability to work to very high tolerances.
  • High attention to detail and appreciation of health & safety.
  • Execute all work professionally.

Requirements:

  • Relevant knowledge, training, and experience working in a machine environment.
  • Time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Be self-motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.
  • Have a good level of fitness due to the physical demands of the job.
  • Have a flexible and positive outlook.
