About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue for our client, a leading telecoms company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the telecoms sector, building relationships with key decision-makers and closing deals.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling existing customers.
  • Account Management: Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Telesales Executives to maximize opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate completion of all electronic and hard copy paperwork, and maintain accurate records of activities and proposals.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Background: A minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Telecoms Sector Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the telecoms sector, including products and services.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as business or marketing.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: A basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000, depending on experience.
  • Annual Car Allowance: A £6,000 annual car allowance.
  • OTE: Uncapped OTE in the first year, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
