As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients with urological cancers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional and clinical leadership in the care of patients with urological cancers, acting as a resource and consultant to provide information and support to patients, carers, and staff.
- Liaise effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve a synchronized specialist service.
- Develop and contribute to the formulation of patient information and policies, ensuring they are aligned with the Trust's policies and procedures.
- Provide informal and formal teaching to patients, staff, and carers, as relevant, and contribute to the development of academic courses provided by The School.
- First-level registration as a nurse.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- First-level degree in a relevant subject.
- Higher degree or willingness to undertake one.
- Teaching qualification or experience.
- Experience in urology or oncology.
