Job Description:

**Stock Controller Role**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Challenge-trg Recruitment. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of stock controlled items, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining a secure storage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate stock records, including inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Ensure the secure storage and issue of all stock controlled items, adhering to prescribed procedures and schedules.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and PI (Perpetual Inventory) counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Organize and manage the receipt and booking of incoming materials, including stockroom organization and maintenance.
  • Participate in scheduled stock takes and other inventory-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel) and the ability to understand and use ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of stock management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
