**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing offshore geotechnical investigations, including onshore laboratory test programme management.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and quality control of geotechnical data.
  • Supporting the project management team in the preparation of project documents as required.
  • Supporting the commercial team in the preparation of commercial proposals.
  • Supporting the equipment team with testing, maintenance, and development of geotechnical equipment and services.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading offshore geotechnical investigations, including site selection, sampling, and testing.
  • Managing onshore laboratory test programmes, including sample preparation, testing, and data analysis.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geotechnical data, including quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborating with the project management team to develop project documents, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Supporting the commercial team in the preparation of commercial proposals, including cost estimates and risk assessments.
  • Working with the equipment team to develop and maintain geotechnical equipment and services, including testing, maintenance, and repair.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in offshore geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
