Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activities Lead to join our team at Rokewood Court, a stunning 64-bed care home that offers luxurious surroundings and a range of amenities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a calendar of engaging activities and events for residents, promoting social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical activity.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents.
- Collaborate with external providers to deliver high-quality activities and events, such as arts and crafts, music sessions, and exercise classes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external providers.
- Ability to develop and implement engaging activities and events that cater to diverse interests and needs.
