About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the nursery nurse team in engaging with young children through active engagement and learning through play
- Foster a caring atmosphere by ensuring every child feels valued and included
- Assist with daily routines, from snack time to nap time, keeping things smooth and enjoyable

Requirements
- NVQ2 Early Years Care and Education or equivalent Childcare Qualification
- Sound knowledge of the needs of children from 0-5 years
- Proven relevant experience of working with children from 0-5 years in a group setting
