Paint Sprayer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing client in Ryde, Isle of Wight. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting, mixing paint and materials according to specifications, and ensuring the facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare parts and assemblies for painting
  • Mix paint and other materials according to specifications
  • Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition
  • Identify and separate non-conforming parts or materials, reporting them to supervisors
  • Utilize a spray gun to apply paint in conformance with specifications
  • Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes
  • Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects/deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments
  • Use solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment
  • Follow company requirements to select paint and match colours according to specified colour charts
  • Handle material and minor maintenance tasks
Ideal Candidate:
  • Hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented
  • Experience in paint spraying is beneficial, but full training will be provided
  • Genuine interest in quality and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4.45pm

Friday: 8am to 2.45pm

45-minute lunch break and 2 x 15-minute tea breaks
