Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Export Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of ocean export shipments, from initial booking through to invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Ocean Freight Export Specialist, you will:
- Coordinate transportation for various cargo types, including LCL, FCL, hazardous materials, and oversized goods, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Prepare and verify documentation to meet customs and insurance standards, as well as packaging requirements.
- Utilize our export system to process customs documentation efficiently.
- Respond to inquiries from customers and colleagues, providing expert guidance on logistics and freight forwarding matters.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to manage credit control and mitigate financial risks.
- Assist in preparing export quotes as needed.
- Support team members in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
