About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prevent and deter unauthorized access to the site
  • Work front-of-house reception, providing a professional and welcoming experience for visitors
  • Organize and manage ID cards, ensuring accurate and secure identification
  • Escort visitors around the site, ensuring their safety and security
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems, responding promptly to any incidents
  • Conduct regular security patrols, both internal and external, to maintain a secure environment
  • Manage equipment provided by the customer and Securitas, adhering to established procedures
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records, issuing visitor/contractor passes and handling lost property

**Requirements:**

  • SIA License
  • Experience working in a front-of-house or reception environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation
  • Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in a security officer role
  • 5-year checkable history
  • Ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness
  • Basic IT literacy
