About the Role:

The Search team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sports Regulatory solicitor to join their practice in London. As a trusted legal and commercial advisor to top sports clients, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of sports regulatory matters, including selection, eligibility, disciplinary, doping and corruption sanctions, commercial disputes, and employment matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising brands on the limitations of sponsorship rights imposed by local and national advertising laws and regulations.
  • Mentoring and training more junior members of the team.
  • Providing expert advice on sports regulatory matters to clients, including sports leagues, clubs, franchise owners, Olympic and world event organizers, international and national governing bodies, stadium developers, investors, banks, and esports companies.

As a Senior Sports Regulatory solicitor, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team that is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in sports regulatory matters from a highly regarded legal sports practice in London.
  • Strong knowledge of sports regulatory law and commercial partnerships rights, sponsorship, licensing, and IP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
