Job Summary:

Npr Recruit Limited is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Deputy Shift Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting the shift manager in leading the shift team, maintaining, repairing, and supporting equipment, and undertaking scheduled repairs according to manufacturer's recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the shift manager in leading the shift team and ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
  • Maintain, repair, and support equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs according to manufacturer's recommendations and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Prioritize system faults and accurately record all work undertaken.
  • Continuously improve and enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels and adhere to quality processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • ONC or HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or BTEC Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship or BSc or MSc.
  • Experience in managing a team (desirable).
  • A working understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic technical manuals and drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC equipment.
