Join Our Team as a Care Assistant

Mencap is on the lookout for dedicated Care Assistants to become part of our exceptional team.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

At our facility, we provide support to four individuals, guided by our core Values: Passion, Kindness, Courage, Inclusivity, and Positivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist four individuals aged between 30 and 70 in various aspects of their daily lives.
  • Provide personal care and support to help them lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A genuine enthusiasm for helping others.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A compassionate and understanding approach towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options:

Full-time: 37 hours per week.

Part-time: Various shift patterns available.

All our services operate 24 hours a day. We prepare rotas at least four weeks in advance, allowing you to manage your personal and social commitments effectively.

Additional Information:

All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
