About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Account Handler. As an Account Handler, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth administration of new business, renewals, and mid-term changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met through suitable cover and pricing.
  • Project Management: Work with minimal mentorship to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and supply support to other projects as required.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Participate in team meetings, reporting on business progress and providing relevant management information to senior managers.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Review client documentation, prepare or check market presentations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with clients, respond to market and third-party queries, and ensure up-to-date records are maintained on the company system.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative: Analyze problems, take ownership of data entry, credit control, and chasing subjectivities, and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), A levels (desirable), and attainment of the LLMIT (the Lloyd's and London Market Introductory Test), where relevant to the role.
  • Skills and Attributes: Understand general and legal principles of insurance, relevant product knowledge, and good communication and social skills.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in an account handling or technical role is desirable.
