Class 1 Driver Opportunity

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to operate a class 1 vehicle, delivering palletised loads of cement, and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Deliver palletised loads of cement to various locations
  • Experience using curtain sided trailers
  • Make a maximum of 3 drops per shift
  • Load the vehicle at the end of your shift for the next driver
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence (with CE entitlement)
  • No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
  • Great knowledge of the UK roads nationally
  • A minimum of 6 months driving experience whether this is Class 1 or Class 2
Benefits:
  • Hourly rate of £14.50
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
  • Ongoing Assignment
  • Training Provided
