Project Manager Assistant - Water Sector

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join their team in the Water sector. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in delivering projects in South London, covering the Thames Water area.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in the Water/Utilities sector, working on a contract basis with a view to becoming more permanent for the right person. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects comply with relevant Client requirements, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and achievement of project objectives.
  • Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of relevant management techniques (resource management, monitoring and control, cost planning, and programme management).
  • Awareness of clean and dirty water networks.
  • Water and Civil experience.
