About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and internal audit frameworks, with experience in managing financial risks and implementing controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal audit projects and investigations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement effective audit plans, identifying areas of risk and recommending controls to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize business processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to junior auditors, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations in the FMCG industry, applying this knowledge to inform audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAEW, or CIA.
- Proven experience as a team leader in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality audit results.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
